Are you a postgraduate research student at the University of Leeds? Are you interested in gaining tutoring experience? Do you have in-depth knowledge of statistics and data skills and strong communication skills? Are you keen to use your experience to support students with their learning?  The Learning Development Team provides academic skills support to undergraduates and taught postgraduates. Peer support has proved to be a powerful tool in our work, especially with new students.  You will work alongside our Statistics and Data Support Advisor to offer statistics and data support to students  at the University in one-to-one appointments, drop-in sessions, and small and large group teaching. This work is complemented by an equivalent maths service. This role is available to current students at the University of Leeds only Interviews are expected to be held on the 03 September 2026. This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements. The post will be offered on an SS4 contract and the successful candidates will work 210 hours flexibly between the contract start date and the end date of 31 July 2027.
