Job Title: Accountability and Scrutiny Chair

Reporting to: Democracy Development Coordinator

Place of Work: York University Students’ Union (Remote working opportunities may be available)

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Hours of work: 2 hours per week (Semester time only contract), providing the flexibility to work around your studies.

Closing Date: Applications will close on Monday 28th September at 5pm. (Although this job may close early if we receive a large amount of applications)
Interviews will take place on the 12th October(Online) and the 13th October (In person)⋅at the Student Union centre.

The Students' Union is a vibrant and dynamic organisation dedicated to representing and supporting the diverse student body of York. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring transparency, fairness and accountability within the Union. You will work closely with the Sabbatical Officer and members of SUmmit to ensure they are held to account and scrutinised as well as working to enhance mechanisms whereby students can hold their representatives to account.
