Digital Education Student Ambassador

What you’ll help with 

• Bring the student voice into digital education projects, discussions and decision-making. 

• Take part in focus groups, listening activities, and feedback sessions about digital learning platforms and subjects such as assessment, accessibility and student learning experiences. 

• User test online resources, guidance, websites and learning tools before they are shared more widely with students. 

• Work with staff to co-design online learning resources, helping make language, layouts and student journeys clearer. 

• Review student-facing content, including FAQs, guidance and short resources, with a focus on tone, clarity, accessibility and relevance. 

• Support rapid feedback activities such as short surveys, usability testing and quick insight exercises for live projects. 

• Create or contribute to student-facing outputs such as blogs, videos, quotes, case studies or event content  linked to digital education initiatives.

What we’re looking for 

• An interest in student education, digital learning or improving student experiences. 

• A willingness to share honest, constructive feedback from a student perspective. 

• The confidence to contribute ideas in meetings, workshops or feedback activities. 

• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences. 

• The ability to work well with others and value different perspectives. 

• Good organisation skills and the ability to balance tasks alongside your studies. 

It would also be helpful if you have experience of 

• Taking part in student voice activities, focus groups, committees or University meetings. 

• Reviewing learning materials, websites, guidance or online resources. 

• Creating communications or engagement content, such as social media posts, blogs, videos or case studies. 

• Studying in a fully  online or hybrid learning environment.
