Joblink is LUU’s on-campus student employment service whose core focus is to provide students with quality employment so they can earn as they learn, pick up new skills and make friends. It also builds and maintains strong partnerships with local employers seeking to connect with our students.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a team player, who has a passion for delivering excellent customer service, and a keen eye for detail. The ability to multi-task is key as you will be working on multiple tasks and small projects at any one time.

As a  member of our team, your main focus will be to support the Joblink team midweek, recruiting for various customers and providing a knowledge job seeking service to students.

Joblink is a recruitment agency that employs 100’s of students per week working within a variety of local employers across multiple sectors, and operates a job site utilised by many local and national employers looking to reach out and advertise to students at the University of Leeds. Additionally, Joblink organises events for employers to visit the University of Leeds campus and engage directly with our students.

Duties:

Student appointments - Onboarding students, explaining our services and helping match to current opportunities

General advice - Providing general advice around part time work in Leeds and signposting to useful resources

Providing a high level if customer service to clients

General recruitment based administration

Supporting the Joblink team in sourcing workers for roles and scheduling shifts

Responding to email queries
