Key Responsibilities Deliver whole-class or small group lessons under the direction of teachers Provide targeted one-to-one or small group support for pupils, including those with SEND and EHCPs Plan and adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual needs and learning styles Implement personalised learning plans and interventions Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning Support pupils’ social, communication, and life skills development Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Act as a positive role model, building strong, professional relationships with pupils Support classroom organisation, displays, and general administrative duties as required What We’re Looking For HLTA qualification or relevant higher-level experience in primary education Experience working with children with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs) Knowledge of EHCPs and personalised support strategies Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills Patience, empathy, and a calm, consistent approach Ability to plan, deliver, and adapt lessons effectively Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children How to Apply: Email us at: for an informal chat, or apply by visiting
