As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will: · Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEN. · Assist in the delivery of tailored learning to meet EHCP goals and individual needs. · Support students with social and emotional development, as well as academic progress.
· Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and adaptations that support inclusive education. · Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to help students engage with their learning. What Were Looking For: · Experience working with students with SEN, ideally within a school setting.
· A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children with additional needs. · A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to helping children make progress. · Ability to adapt teaching methods and support strategies to suit individual students.
· Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential). To be eligible, you must: · Hold Right to Work in the UK. · Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application.
