Teaching Assistant

Academics are currently recruiting confident and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support a number of our partner schools across Bradford. We work with a variety of schools including mainstream settings and specialist SEN provisions, offering flexible opportunities for experienced and passionate support staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Teaching Assistants who enjoy working in different environments and supporting children with a range of learning needs. Roles may include working within mainstream classrooms, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or working within dedicated SEN provisions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils

  • Assisting children with SEN and additional needs to access learning

  • Promoting a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment

  • Supporting pupils with their confidence, behaviour and engagement in lessons

What We're Looking For:

  • A confident and proactive Teaching Assistant

  • Experience working with children in mainstream and/or SEN settings

  • A flexible and reliable approach to working across different schools

  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a DBS application
