Role Overview
The Marketing and Communications Officer will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility, reputation, and reach of the organisation
This role involves creating engaging content, managing digital platforms including updating the website, executing marketing campaigns, and leading on the NCFD’s communication strategy to promote our services, values, and impact.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, results-driven professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Campaigns
· Develop and implement the NCFD’s marketing and communication strategy, with the view of promoting the NCFD’s services, training and Investors in Diversity accreditation and showcasing the value of inclusive cultures.
· Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and print materials.
· Monitor and evaluate the performance of campaigns, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
Digital Presence
· Manage and grow social media presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, by creating compelling and engaging content across platforms.
· Work closely with clients to gather success stories, testimonials, and key insights to showcase the organisation’s impact and highlight FREDIE best practice.
· Ensure all content aligns with the organisation’s tone of voice, values, branding, and messaging guidelines.
· Update and maintain the organisation's website, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and SEO-optimised. You will work closely with the web designer to edit the functionality of the website as is necessary.
· Monitor online engagement and respond to inquiries and comments in a timely manner.
· Podcasts - Work closely with the CEO to create the podcasts
Internal Communications
· Support internal communications efforts to ensure staff are informed and engaged with organisational activities and updates, working closely with the Head of Assessors to produce a regular internal newsletter.
· Collaborate with sales and administration teams on the production of document templates and presentations to ensure all material follows brand guidelines.
