Job Description/Duties

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/waiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is necessary along with an understanding of food safety standards. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, taking food orders, serving food and engaging with customers, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.
  • Take orders accurately, handle cash or card transactions efficiently, and manage tabs as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Restock supplies as needed and assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a lively yet safe environment that encourages repeat visits.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles within restaurants or bars.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in beverage preparation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers.
  • Good organisational skills, including time management, to handle busy periods efficiently.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends is required.
  • A friendly personality with a professional attitude towards guest service.
