Do you want to make a difference for a young person with autism? Would you enjoy supporting them to develop their independence and social skills? Are you able to commit 4 hours of your time each weekend term time, with an extra 6 hours in school holidays?  I am a 13-year-old girl with autism and Fragile X Syndrome who loves music and dance, I also love swimming and going for walks to the park..  My autism means I can struggle to try new activities and I would like to be able to enjoy activities outside of my home and school life, but I need support to be able to do this. I may feel anxious and nervous at times until I feel comfortable and will need kindness and reassurance to help me settle.  I do not require any personal care – but may need reminding to use the toilet.
