Cafe Assistant/Barista Supervisor

We are seeking a confident, motivated Supervisor to join our team at Nesso. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and leads by example on the floor.

Nesso is a hybrid café and restaurant, combining relaxed canteen-style dining with an efficient, fast-paced service model similar to Nando’s.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing and serving food using the specs provided
• Making hot coffee and cold drinks to standard
• Support the day-to-day running of the café
• Lead and motivate the team during shifts
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Oversee opening and closing procedures
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation
• Assist with staff training and performance
• Handle cashing up and basic administrative duties
• Step up in the manager’s absence

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a supervisor or senior hospitality role
• Strong barista skills and confidence with hot drinks service
• A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
• Flexible availability, including weekends
