The Botanist was founded in 2012 in the North West of England with one simple mission: to celebrate the vibrant world of botany through food, drink, and unforgettable experiences.
From the very beginning, we set out to create more than just a bar and restaurant. At The Botanist, the atmosphere is alive with the spirit of nature.
Where laughter fills the air, the energy is high, and every dish and cocktail is infused with and inspired by the beauty of plants, herbs, and the changing seasons.
With menus that bring our guests fresh and colourful dishes that stir the senses. We celebrate veg, glorious veg! Alongside our inventive, botanically inspired cocktails that have been carefully curated by our resident botanist, we’ve built a reputation for hospitality that is genuine, warm, and refreshingly unpretentious.
But we’re not just about food and drink. The final flourish? Every weekend, we showcase live music from homegrown artists, creating the perfect backdrop for relaxed evenings, catch-ups with friends, or big celebrations.
The Botanist isn’t about rules or formality it’s about real connections, playful touches, and moments that feel just a little more special than you expected. Come as you are, raise a glass to nature, and leave with memories worth keeping.
